This Sunday: Can We Trust It?
We continue our series “It Is Written” by asking a critical question: Can we trust the Bible we have today?
Many people have heard claims that the Bible has been changed over time or passed down like a game of telephone. Rather than avoiding that tension, we are stepping directly into it.
We will explore how the books of the Bible were carefully recognized, how the text was faithfully preserved through oral tradition and meticulous copying, and how it has been accurately passed down through translation. Along the way, we will look at manuscript evidence, address common criticisms, and see how history and archaeology support the reliability of Scripture.
The conclusion we’re building toward is clear: the Bible is not a fragile or corrupted text. It is a carefully preserved and trustworthy Word.
So the question is not simply Can we trust it? The question is: Will we trust it?
